trip to a marae in a school

hello bloggers today I will be telling you about my trip lets get on with it

This morning,

We sang some songs that we have learned for a long time. Also in the marae the people from the school that we came to sang some songs as well I thought that they were great singers.

Today I learnt all about the stick dance in Maori. They did do the stick dance for fishing, the haka and for fighting in the war (I think in the war???), we did learn some action.the action are runga up, raho down, roto in, waho out. Then we showed what we learned to the other people doing the poi.


I also learned some of the actions for the poi. The some of the action for the poi is up, down, in words and backwards. But the catch is that the words were in Maori it was hard to remember but I got it. Then with the poi we showed what we learned to the other people doing the haka. but my group didn't get to do the haka because there was not that much time to do the haka

Finally we were done so we walked to the bus with our non buddy class. But I thought that anyone would like this trip and I liked the trip as well.so that was the trip that my school went to.
